“The Cabana”
A part of the series dedicated to Hallie’s late grandmother, The Cabana is inspired by remembered experiences in her grandmother’s backyard. The artist spent many hot Texas summers swimming in the pool and making milkshakes with her cousins. Her grandmother created a home where the family could gather. The color palette is indicative of the patio furniture, the patio brick, and the overall feeling of being a kid in the summer.
